For our client Hoya Vision Care in Uithoorn we are looking for a flexible and entrepreneurial candidate for the position of SAP Support Expert.
Hoya is a Japan based publicly held company.
Worldwide the company generates revenues of approximately 5 billion EURO and employs around 35.000 staff. In Europe Hoya focuses on 4 divisions: Vision Care, Health Care, Life Care and Imaging Systems. The European turnover amounts to 800 million Euro and 2.500 employees. The European Financial HQ is located in Uithoorn and employs in Europe 18 people. The working language is English.
The position
SAP Support department consists of 3 employees.
The SAP Expert will assist end users in development, implementation and maintaining highest level of performance of SAP modules within their organizations.
The position reports to the General Manager F&A.
The vacancy arises because the present employee has accepted a position outside the company.
Major tasks are;
- Support SAP users mainly in SD/MM. FI/CO, FSCM and/or BW modules are less important.
- Assist in the further development of these modules and other projects,
- Training, education and development of SAP end users,
- Implement SAP replacing other systems,
- Liaise with and assist management in SAP issues,
- Optimize the SAP environment.
The ideal candidate
Education: Preferably HBO or Masters degree in IT, business administration or comparable (foreign) education.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required; other European languages are
considered to be an asset.
Experience: The right candidate has solid hands-on experience with SAP modules that is backed up by proper theoretical knowledge.
We are looking for a flexible candidate (M/F) that can adapt to changing circumstances and situations at business units.
He or she must have a firm understanding of business processes and be able to assess situations and act upon them as a self-starter.
He or she must be able and willing to travel
Must be able to conform to company standards and team efforts.
Location
The company is located in Uithoorn.
Though it is preferred the candidate does not HAVE to live in the vincinity of the office. Travel accounts for about 20-40% of the time.
Remuneration
The company offers a good remuneration package and an initial contract for a year.
After successfully completing that year a contract for an indefinite period of time is offered.
Miscellaneous
Having a driving license is required. There is no backlog in the activities.
